A love 'unsaid' is told.

Tokyo 5:00 PM
Ramesh muttered in his mobile phone
""Hi Pavi da..I'll be late to home dear..i..i..i have a auditor visit today at office..you have your dinner and plsdon't wait for me..".

That's a lie.

After 5 mins he took his car out of the parking and hit the freeway and headed towards Kokyo Gaien Park.It was slightly drizzling outside and droplets frightened away of the windshield and his in car audio system melodized with a 2012 latest number.

Yet his thoughts took him a decade back of his fantasies about Pragathi
It was in his 12th class..she asked
"will you be my best friend ever Ramesh..will you promise to be" his lips uttered "yes",but he felt as though he of the ground and floating.

Every moment then on of his teen life was satiated with her.An awe inspiration that made him set definite goals and work towards achieving them.An attraction for him to attend the school.Even reaching early and staring the class room entrance for her arrival.

He still remembered the smell of her and the feeling that can never be expressed when she is near.Yes.He remembered the special dress that she wore for her birthday that year. And the color - Dark violet and the pink combi.

Ramesh can never deny the fact that his attraction towards Pragathi inspired and drove him to a point where he is now - 'Research Lead' at a renowned automobile firm
in Tokyo.

It was the last day of the school. He know if he missed this day he can never tell his love to Pragathi.

He waited there patiently ,she came near him

"Am worried if we are gonna meet again in life Ramesh" said Pragathi and added
" Lets wish we settle in the same college" Ramesh saw her eyes it was defeating him he couldn't speak a word.

They bid fairwell to each other and left the place.
The school the sacred place that brought in between them an emotion which seemed to be so shallow and transient at that age.

Days ,months and years passed,it was eventful and occupying for Ramesh that made him slowly get over the thoughts of Pragathi.Untill last week after 10 years when he found her on a Social network and to his surprise she was on a official trip to Tokyo.

It was Pragathi's request to Ramesh that she wanted to meet him for an hour.

Kokyo Gaien Park:
He waited patiently in the garden. It was drizzling but not so drenching to sit under a tree bench. He felt kind of dejavu, the same feeling of waiting for her in the school days. She came in a distant Ramesh stood up ,she came near and they gazed each other 1/2 a min.

"How are u" He asked and the next 30 mins was a brief discussion about their current state - families children etc

Slowly the discussion lurched towards their past.

Pragathi said "Ramesh. You were my best friend during those days ,why didn't you ever attempt to connect later" Ramesh remained silent. She said "Enn da you decided to take me out of your life so early."

She had all the answers for questions he had.
She said "I had dreamed of this day that you would come for sure to me with the same feelings.Dont you"

That moment,Ramesh had few pulses skipped out of his biological system. It took 10 years for him to know that, even Pragathi had the same feelings for him.

"I love you Pragathi" that was an instantaneous a decade delayed) proposal that made her smile ,the coordinates of which is lost in his heart somewhere reconnected.

It was meant to happen like this.Something unsaid earlier had a reason and effect all this time and something unsaid is being told now that had a reason but no effect.
Ramesh was on his way back home,he had never felt so happy and clear. Before he could sense the clarity, he got a call from Pavithra

"Da where are u am still waiting for u..am hungry but don't want to eat without you..come soon"

Oh damn! Why can't love stories be always "Happily Ever After" :(
