Beyond explanations - 1(Illusion)

"Pappu,can you come out for dinner.This is last time i going to call you,please da" Veena cried for the 6th time her 10 yr old daughter Sameera.

She was upset.Veena has been trying to ask her the reason since she came home from school.

It was 9 PM and Sameera never came out of her room.She locked it from inside.

"Let your Daddy come and deal over this.I not gonna care a damn about you." frustrated Veena.

Few mins later ..

Ram opened the door and went to kitchen.
He held Veena from the back.She resisted and defended out of his hold
from her hips.He with all his manly power twirled her and quickly arranged her in lovely kissing postion.Before he could launch any further actions,Veena kissed him straight.
A romantic scene lasted for few mins and relaxed both of them out of the all day corporate pressure and tiresomeness.

Ram said "So did she tell you the reason"
"She was silent and never ready to talk to me" Veena and added.
"Ram that's why i asked you several times i wanted a boy who will listen to his mommy and be nice all the time"

He smiled and told "Ok.Lets talk to her.I bet, this would be again all to do with Meghana." said Ram.

Veena sighed"Samy changed a lot after becoming friend with this new girl."

Ram added "Hey da,she is just 10 years.You cant go tell her that your friend is bad and stay away from her"

"You know last month when i went to school for the Moms day,Preethi ran towards me and said 'Aunty i had a very bad day today Samy is not talking with me anymore.She says am not her best friend anymore.Can you please do something'. I realyy got abashed among the other moms and teachers."said Veena

and she whiningly said "And couple of weeks back ,she says she wont got to field trip planned in the school.And you know reason being her lovely friend Meghana is not coming.And she wont join the Dance class as Meghana is not enrolling.For everything action in her life she says Meghana Meghana ..am sick of it"

Ram quikcly interrupted and said "Ok let me talk to her" he went near Samy's room door and knocked it gently."Hey Sami daddy came home!!"

She was silent.

Ram tried by all means and no answer.But he could see her lying cute in the mattress through the key hole.

He said  "Ok if you come out now for dinner, i can talk to Meghana's parents and bring her to our house for this weekend for a sleep over"  before he could complete, door thrash opened and Samy proclaimed  "Promise dada"

Veena set the table and they were soon eating the hot idlis with chutney.

Ram tardily asked "Ok tell me what happened today at school that made you upset"

Samy  "Daddy today i got the cookies that mommy prepared to school.All kids had it but for Meghana.I was very upset i saved some for her, she said no and she don't eat cookies"

Ram "May be she do not like cookies.Next time ask her what she likes and dada will buy it for you to take"

Sameera smiled.Later that night..

Ram came out of Samys room and said to Veena as she watching CNN news
"Look at her when she sleeps.Deep and sinless.Can you got to school tomorrow and check with Meghana,find out about their parents.We shall call them for dinner this Friday.Not sure about sleep over"

"Are you seriousabout this.Still, i have all day meetings this whole week cant make it to school" added Veena

Ram said "Oh man.I have field visit.Ok let me call her teacher and find out about her parents"

Two days later..

Ram was driving to his field visit and all of a sudden recollected that he need to call up Samy's teacher to find out about Meghana.He rang to her teacher from his bluetooth headet.

"She is little dull these days.Actually i wanted to meet you guys this week"

Ram said "Sure this week its little hectic for both of us and we can definitely meet sometime next week"

"Sure no problem"

"And i wanted to know if i can get Samy's friend Meghana's parents telephone contact.Planning to invite them for dinner this week."

"Sorry.Who Meghana!!.Did you say Meghana"

"Yeah Meghana Samys friend.You know this kid who joined your school this year"

"No there is no one called Meghana in her class"

"May be in the other sections." stammered Ram

"No Ram i haven't heard any Meghana in the whole school"

Ram pulled over in the freeway.He was sudating in spite of the A/C chillness and he added "Ok..ok..May be i would have got the name incorrectly from Samy.Will talk to you later" and he hung up the phone
