Thanks Machi

Thanks is a common expression of gratitude.

Also a tricky word that usage of it in a way measure your closeness in the relationship.

Below is a sampled moment around this between two thick friends.

8:30 AM

"You don't worry machi,will meet you 5 pm in your room.Ok.By then i will have it ready" assured Dinesh over the phone.
"Dai how will you arrange it " exclaimed Raj
"Free ya vidu.Dont ask me for more details.All i want you to do is relax and get some sleep." commanded Dinesh
"Seri" raj paused, and added "and again i am telling one more time drive carefully machi,without helmet.Why don't your "paappu" care about it.Will she ever react to you about it" said Raj sarcastically and continued
"And this time i have set a remainder in my phone so that you wont forget to take it when you leave" said Raj and they hung up the phone.

It was more than a week that Raj was upset to make arrangement to pay college tuition fee for his brother.He knew there is no one else who can help him other than Dinesh.But he also knew that he does not have that kind of money.

Raj and Dinesh know each other for more than 15 years now.They went to same school now working for a small wage in private owned factories.They live 50 miles apart and used to meet every weekend and for the most part that they enjoy talking about is their best childhood days.And Dinesh latest acquaintance is his new Girl friend.He fondly named it "paappu".He just enjoys taking her around the city and he loves her deep from his heart.Raj many times felt really bad and get possessive over his friend spending time with his Girl,the feeling that he makes her feel more important than him.Both are finding it hard to handle the new addition between them.

5:15 PM
Door knock and Raj unfolded himself from the deep evening sleep.He know its Dinesh and opened the door.
"Dai.Looks like you rested well.Good" handed him a envelope as he spoke ."Send it to bro first time tomorrow when you get to work"
"Dai.How did you get this and.." before Raj could add further and was abruptly interrupted by Dinesh 
"Dai don't ask all those.I have got something else too" said he, and opened the beer cans.
Both had good time talking to each other and Dinesh this time never spoke a word about his "Paappu".

8:30 PM
"Ok da,i have to leave and get ready for this week.Next weekend we will meet" said Dinesh
"Dai wait lets go for dinner.." said Raj
"No machi,not today" said Dinesh as he was arranging his shoes.
Raj mobile beeped - "Helmet Remind" was the message,he went and got the helmet and proudly said "here you go."
Dinesh look at it and paused.
and said "Dai i don't need this anymore"
and after few seconds started to open the door to head out.
Raj called him "Dai" paused for few seconds  and said "Thanks machi " and hugged him.It was in the course of the hug using the arrangement that he doesn't need to see his eyes, he said "Say hi to your paappu".But Dinish knows he cannot anymore.
