Paradise of Trust Hope and Realness - 4 (Final Part)

Please read through previous episodes at Previous Episode

Claps and a round of applause filled up the big auditorium.
Anjali gladly accepted the award and was smiling at the audience.
"Thank you sir" she said looking at ChiefGuest ,when he pecked at her cheeks.
She showed the certificate to the audience it read "First prize - Recital competition "

She limped towards the stairs off the stage.Anjali suffers from Partial paralysis by birth.
It made her right leg to be paralyzed and non functional.

ChiefGuest took over the podium and said
"My heart full wishes to Anjali.Wishes for her bright career and let she win many such competitions in future.I admire at her self-confidence despite her physical challenges.
And most importantly i want to thank her parents and they are the ones who are also to be admired at.Having a child with special needs is definitely a very challenging aspect of parenting. And it probably involves immense ultimum of strength to carry on with life and give such children a meaningful existence, nurturing them to evolve as competent individuals and definitely make the world a better place to live in.Kudos to them. They are truly heroic !!.May i have them come up to the stage" .

Anjali called her parents by signaling using both her hands.
Sanjay and Shruthi walked up to the stage.Shruthi cannot control her tears.
There were big applause for them from the crowd.

It was 10 PM and the happy family was driving back home from the school.
Anjali slept and their car audio was melodizing  Nandala - Onnukoonu

Shruthi sunk in to deep thought back her seat and in the memory lane of her abominable pregnancy period.

She was not able to do anything with her mysterious preganacy. As the whole family including sanjay's parents came to know about it.She has to continue it and every day of her pregnancy passed with confusion and filled with sorrowfulness. She prayed that no other woman should land into a situation like hers.

It was their regular check up in the second trimester.Doctor Padma was very disturbed after the ultrasound. She called the parents inside her room,

Padma in her low tone said "As i said in the last check up.It is confirmed now.Yes there is a 90 % chance of paralysis on the right leg for the baby.Am really sorry to say about this. Its up to you to decide if you want to continue with the pregnancy"

That evening."Sanjay.Can you take me to temple" requested Shruthi. They entered the temple and Sanjay sensed that Shruthi wanted some time private and he went around the temple.

Shruthi sat in front of the idol and thought to herself.
"Is this how i should payback for all the sin i did.Its all my mistake and why should the little one suffer".She cried out loud. She wept and sat there silent for few min's.Suddenly she stood up wiping her tears off her cheeks and clearly cerebrated
"Am not going to abort the baby ,and do another sin. From this moment i would give anything that takes to take care of it.Am least bothered if it takes my life to care for it.I do not care to worry about who the father would be.All that i should know is "Am the mother""

Suddenly the car stopped bringing Shruthi back to the present."Need to pump in some fuel" said Sanjay.
At this time Anjali woke up and asked in a tiresome tone "Mommy are we home yet".

"Not yet dear.We should be in another few mins. Why don't you sleep"
Sanjay got in to the car when Anjali asked "Daddy.Remember you promised me that you will take me to 'Avatar' tomorrow."

Sanjay said "Sorry da.We will go next week.Daddy got some meetings"
Shruthi added "Yes dear.Daddy is a busy engineer" and smiled.
Anjali in her little angry voice "I hate you daddy and I hate engineers. When i grow up i wont become an engineer." she frowned.
Sanjay while turning the wheels asked "Oh ok.What do you want to become when you grow up then?"
Anjali replied "I want to become a Physio Therapist.Like our Ed uncle and help all the kids with broken leg.Same like he did for my broken leg." and smiled at them.

Silence.

Tears rolled. This time it was from Sanjay.

Seems like you know Logic very well, why not leave your name.

and I don't think all the three won. Logic has left a few open ends in the series for the reader to perceive it. For me, none of them won!
