Shyam woke up for the sixth time and consumed cold water from the cooler.
Kavitha "Enna da tensiona"
"Haan.Not able to sleep" he said.
Shaym was a victim of mass lay off in XYZ firm.And he was hunting for job for the past 2 months.And he had cleared 3 levels out of a 4 level interview and the result of the last level will be published tommorow.
Kavitha works in leading IT firmand earns a good salary.And she knows how Shyam would feel without a job at this time.
"I did it well.Should be through this time da" Shyam said.
Kavitha looked at him.Remined silent.
"Enna Kavitha.Am i spoiling your sleep." he said
She was calm.
Shyam looked at her "am not the right match to you dear" he said and tears rolled down.
"Hey Shyam common..pls stop this..be a man.."
Defined characteristics of a male can be listed as follows,
Physical -- virile, athletic, strong, brave. Unconcerned about appearance and aging;
Functional -- breadwinner, provider for family as much as mate
Emotional -- unemotional, don't cry;
Intellectual -- logical, intellectual, rational, objective, practical,
Interpersonal -- leader, dominating;independent,individualistic;Demanding;
The current trend,culture,job and lots of other things have started to slowly alter and mix up these characteristics making it hard for them.
Shyam being a victim to this syndrome is not able to get a wink of sleep since he has lost his job.The feeling that his wife is earning and he is not, kills him.
And made him cry (contradicting the above list)
Kavitha offered her lap.He rested on that.It was soft and cozy for him.
She bent down and kissed him.
A long deep passinate one.He turned on and she offered herself.
For those few moments he forgot everything.And after, he slowly sunk into a deep sleep.
Kavitha washed her face and sat near him looking him sleeping.
A woman can soften a man
also can weaken him.
